Description

The Olde English Bulldogge is an American-bred dog whose purpose was to recreate the healthier working bulldog breeds of the past. The Olde English Bulldogge is a cross between the English and American bulldog, the Bullmastiff and Pit Bull.  This dog has a lot of power and strength yet comes with a very easygoing personality. The Olde English Bulldogge is athletic, protective and needs an owner who establishes him/herself as leader of the pack. It is adaptable to most environments though requires protection from extreme temperatures, both heat and cold. The dog makes a great watchdog because of its intimidating appearance and can be wary of strangers, but actually makes a king, loving family pet.

Disposition

  • Easy to train because of its high level of intelligence and healthier than the bulldog breeds of the 1800s.
  • This dog will need exercise, such as a daily walk but won't require much more than that in order to remain happy and healthy.
  • If you socialize this puppy at a young age, it can get along well with children and will make a wonderful companion dog.
