The Chorkie, also called a Chiyorkie, York Chi, Yorkie-Chi, and Yorkiechi, is a cross between the Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier breeds. The Chorkie has a small head with large eyes and ears, and comes in varying sizes depending upon the genes inherited from their parents.

Due to its small size, the Chorkie obviously won’t be able to overpower strangers/intruders, but instead will normally bark at them to alert its owners. Its size makes it suited for apartment life, seniors, and gets along well with children and pets. However, their confident personality means they will sometimes challenge larger animals.

Grooming Requirements

Since a Chrokie is a hybrid breed, grooming will vary depending on which parent they take after, but regular combing is recommended.

Exercise/Energy Level

Although indoor games should be enough for the Chorkie due to its small size, they can still benefit with daily walking/jogging due to being an energetic breed.
