The American Eskimo is an affectionate, charming, alert, hardy, and playful breed. It is also good for children. The Kleekimos typically keep clean by frequently grooming themselves. They only need a minimum amount of grooming for this reason. Brush their fluffy coat regularly, however, they do not require frequent haircuts. Klee Kais shed heavily twice a year, so be prepare for extra shedding from your Kleekimo during the transitional seasons.
